25.06.04 Comments Off TELEVISIE UITZENDING “OPEN EN BLOOT”
Zin om even virtueel te komen kijken in mijn studio hoe zo’n naaktsessie met een koppel verloopt? Dat kan nu vanaf 11 juli, elke zondag avond op KANAALTWEE om 22:20 in het programma “Open en Bloot". Aan de hand van de naaktfoto’s zullen de koppels geconfronteerd zijn met het beeld van hun lichaam. De dialoog die hierdoor ontstaat binnen het koppel zou wat frustraties en taboes moeten kunnen wegwerken. Dikwijls is er een discrepantie tussen het ideaal beeld dat men zou willen vertonen naar de andere toe, beïnvloed door onze consumptiemaatschappij, en het verlangen van de partner die hierover een misschien andere perspectief heeft. Hopelijk gaat deze dialoog verder in de huiskamer en gaan mijn foto’s leiden tot een alternatieve kijk op naakt, zowel fysisch als psychisch. Daarvoor doe ik het ook en is mijn doel voldaan…

MASKES & MASKERS GIRLS & MASKS
'Maskes' is Antwerp slam for 'girls'.
Except of the masks, the women are naked to preserve the pictures of the fashionable time stamp and social conventions. The result is the idealisation of a woman pure of all cultural and social referees in her most clean personality and individuality.
The role of the masks is multiple: they hide the face who is in our society the first reference to somebody beauty and soul.
Now it's just the opposite, all attention goes to the body, the private garden of the woman but also the universal beauty of human body.
On the other hand the mask gives in both ways a voyeuristic dimension, a reciprocal peep between model and observer.
She is not a passive object anymore but participates in a visual communication.
The pictures are enlarged maximum five times at 49x49cm, on photographic fiber paper.
URBAD DREAMS
